At Cafès Gener, roasting masters since 1950, we have built a 2000m² plant, where we produce coffee in the following way:
- Direct acquisition of coffee from the plantations of origin, depending on the samples received from the harvest each year.
- Arrival of the green coffee at the port of Barcelona.
- Transfer to the plant in Cardona.
- Sacking process.
- Sampling of proofs from 25% of the sacks.
- Roasting and cupping.
- Admission of the approved raw in the productive cycle.
Our machinery offers the newest technology in treating coffee:
- Cleaning of the raw coffee.
- Separate roasting depending on the origin or quality.
- Clearing of stones.
- Storage in 10 silos.
- Posterior blending of the different origins.
- Automatic packaging of the final product
